CAN YOU AVOID AI TOOLS ON MY PROJECT

You can contractually exclude generative AI tools from your project across creative, technical, and written deliverables by requesting this condition prior to sign-off.

Yes. You can contractually exclude generative artificial intelligence tools from your project across design, code, and copywriting deliverables.

We record this requirement as a binding project constraint in your bespoke quote and project schedule before any production work begins.

How to request an AI-free workflow

AI restrictions cannot be applied retroactively to active work. You must flag this requirement at the earliest inquiry stage so that our estimators and department leads can scope manual alternatives accurately.

1. Submit your brief: State clearly in your initial project brief or via the Ask Xylo chat that you require an AI exclusion. Specify whether this covers all work or particular streams (for example, code, visual assets, or written copy). 2. Brief review: Operations & Client Services reviews the request alongside the technical and creative department leads to ensure the required deliverable can be produced manually without external automated pipeline dependencies. 3. Written quotation: We issue a bespoke quote within 48 hours of receiving your complete brief. The quotation will state in writing that generative AI models are barred from the scope. 4. Sign-off: You approve the quote and remit payment. Deposits are non-refundable once your production slot is held. Before work begins, sums not yet earned are refunded pro rata; after work begins, completed work and booked time are charged. Defects are fixed free of charge within the acceptance window. The full terms are on the Refund Policy page of the main site.

Departmental enforcement

When an AI restriction is in place, production responsibilities are divided across our three departments to ensure zero automated generation enters the asset pipeline:

* Creative: Designers, illustrators, and copywriters draft all concepts, vector assets, layouts, and prose directly in industry-standard production software. No generative image synthesis, automated concept art generators, or large language models are used for ideation, drafting, or polishing. * Technology: Engineers write application logic, database schemas, and front-end markup manually in approved integrated development environments. Automated inline code completion tools powered by public generative models are disabled on project repositories. * Operations & Client Services: This team audits incoming and outgoing deliverables, monitors version-control commit histories, logs human authorship sign-offs, and handles any technical queries raised via Ask Xylo.

Our team operates Monday to Thursday, 09:00 to 17:00 GMT. Production checkpoints, review stages, and correspondence strictly follow these operating hours.

Impact on schedules and quoting

Standard packages displayed on the packages page assume our baseline production pipeline. Because baseline workflows may utilise AI-assisted toolsets for routine tasks—such as code refactoring, initial transcriptions, or layout variations—excluding these tools alters resource allocation.

Manual execution requires dedicated hours from specialist personnel. Consequently:

* AI-restricted work cannot be purchased directly through fixed-scope package checkouts. It requires a bespoke quote issued within 48 hours of a finalised brief. * Delivery schedules are typically longer than standard package turnarounds to account for manual drafting, line-by-line code authoring, and human QA. * If you joined via our ambassador programme or hold a referral, your 10% to 30% discount will still be honoured and calculated directly against the bespoke manual quote.

Third-party dependencies and failure cases

While Xylora Studios can guarantee that its internal team uses no generative tools, external dependencies require client alignment:

* Client-supplied assets: If you supply brand guidelines, copy, photography, or base code that contains generative AI elements, our team will work with those files as delivered. We do not retroactively audit client-supplied materials unless hired specifically to replace them. * Third-party software libraries: Modern web platforms, frameworks, and third-party SaaS integrations occasionally embed machine learning algorithms (such as predictive search or spam filtering). These operational features are distinct from generative AI content creation, but any concerns regarding data privacy must be identified before quoting. * Subcontractor compliance: Where specialist external talent is contracted under studio supervision, they are bound by the same written non-AI terms. Operations & Client Services verifies their working methodology before deliverables are merged into our main branches.

If you request a tool exclusion after contract approval and deposit payment, work must pause. Operations & Client Services will review whether the project scope can be transitioned to an AI-restricted workflow.

Client checklist before booking

Before submitting your brief for an AI-restricted project, verify the following:

* You have documented which areas must exclude AI (Creative, Technology, or the entire scope). * You have confirmed that your internal stakeholders accept the adjusted delivery timelines necessary for fully manual production. * You have prepared all source files and verified that existing assets comply with your internal provenance standards. * You have initiated your inquiry via the Ask Xylo chat or submitted your detailed brief to receive your bespoke quote within 48 hours.
