Up to two weeks, the slot generally holds and the date shifts by the length of the pause.
Longer pauses
Beyond a month, the remaining work is re-scheduled into the next available window. Your files and everything approved so far are kept.
Quotes
A quote reflects the capacity and costs at the time it was written. After a long pause we re-confirm rather than silently re-price.
Restarting well
Send a short note on what changed while you were away. Restarting against an out-of-date brief is the expensive way to do it.
