HOW DO YOU HANDLE EXPORT CONTROLS AND SANCTIONED JURISDICTIONS?

sanctionsexportcompliance

We screen every new engagement against UK and EU sanctions lists. Some jurisdictions and end-uses are declined.

Screening

Every new client passes through a basic compliance screen at proposal stage:

  • UK Sanctions List
  • EU Consolidated Financial Sanctions List
  • OFAC SDN list (for clients with US nexus)
  • End-use review for technology with dual-use potential

Jurisdictions we cannot work with

We decline engagements with entities domiciled in jurisdictions under comprehensive UK / EU sanctions. The list changes; the current position is confirmed in writing at proposal stage.

End-uses we will not support

  • Surveillance technology marketed to non-democratic state actors
  • Weapons systems and military targeting tooling
  • Disinformation and astroturfing operations
  • Adult, gambling, and predatory lending fronts

This is studio policy, not a legal requirement. It costs us work and we are fine with that.
