FILES & HANDOVER

Formats, source files, delivery links, archives and what you receive at the end.

01Do I get source files? What about working files?Yes, on final payment. Includes editable design files, project files, source code, and stems. Stored in a single archive.02What does project hand-off look like?A 30-minute hand-off call, a written hand-off document, all source files, and a 14-day post-launch support window.03What file formats do you deliver?Format depends on discipline. Below is the standard delivery matrix — additional formats free during the 12-month window.04What software and frameworks do you use?Modern, well-supported tools per discipline. Source files are deliverable in the format you can open.05How do you deliver large files (raw footage, multitracks)?Time-limited download links up to 50 GB. Beyond that, encrypted hardware shipped within Europe; client courier for elsewhere.06Can I edit the work myself after delivery?Yes — that is the point of source files. Hand-off includes a written guide for the most common edits in your stack.07How do you handle export controls and sanctioned jurisdictions? We screen every new engagement against UK and EU sanctions lists. Some jurisdictions and end-uses are declined.08How long do you archive past projects?Final deliverables archived 7 years. Working files purged after 12 months unless you contract retention. Retrieval is free in the first year, billed after.09What we mean by "done"A definition of done that is checkable, not a feeling.10Communication channels we useOne thread per project, files in one place, and why we avoid tool sprawl.11Glossary of terms we usePlain definitions for the words that appear in scope registers and invoices.12Can you take over from another supplierXylora Studios regularly assumes control of inflight or abandoned projects once administrative access, native source assets, and an operational baseline are established.
