Terms

Scope register — the document listing deliverables, rounds, formats and exclusions. Round — one consolidated feedback set plus one revised delivery. Deposit — the payment that reserves a production slot. Balance — the remaining payment, due at handover. Handover — the delivery of final files plus documentation. Source files — editable working files, as distinct from exports. Exclusion — something explicitly not included in the price. Pass-through cost — a third-party cost billed at cost, such as a font licence. Spike — a short, time-boxed investigation to remove an unknown. Phase boundary — a point where the plan and estimate are restated.
