HOW DO I GIVE FEEDBACK THAT ACTUALLY MOVES THE WORK FORWARD?

Consolidated, written, specific. One document per round. Reference frame numbers, page sections, or timestamps.

The format we work fastest with

  • One document per round — not a thread of messages
  • Specific anchors — page name, section, frame number, timestamp
  • Outcome, not solution — describe the problem, let us propose the fix
  • Prioritised — flag the three changes that matter most

What slows the work down

  • Verbal-only feedback on a call without follow-up notes
  • "Make it pop", "more energy", "needs more wow" without reference
  • Stakeholder comments forwarded second-hand without context
  • Adding scope inside a feedback round (use a change order instead)

A good feedback round looks like

A short doc with three sections — Approved, Change, Question. Each bullet under Change names the deliverable, the location, and the desired outcome. That is enough.
